My husband was working nights doing road construction on a busy expressway. All of a sudden he heard a little “meow” didn’t see anything, then another “meow” out comes this brand new little fur ball rubbing against his leg and purring. All of the other crew guys tried to feed her and call her over to them, she would not leave my husbands foot. Gregg picked the little fur ball up and that was it. He called me around 2am and told me what happened and I said bring her on home. He put her in the backseat of his truck cuddled in a big blanket and slept the rest of the night while he was working.7am this 6’2 210lb man walked into the door with this adorable, beautiful little stray cat and handed her over to me. Just like him I fell in Love. I took her to the Vet, got shots and made sure she was okay, then all three of us went to breakfast at a outdoor cafe and she slept in my lap. She is now 4 years old and still the most Precious animal I have ever had. Oh by the way her name is PRECIOUS. If he wasn’t working that night the poor little thing would have walked onto the street and might not have made it. I thank God everyday for my precious.
Violet what a crazy girl

I didn’t do it Mommy..I swear!
I happen to have two female cats. But the one I am going to tell the story of, is Violet. She is perhaps the most adorable kitten ever put on this earth. She is black, grey and white, and is a small cat for her age (she is about five months old right now). When we brought her home, she would jump at the rice pot cord that was on the table, and try to swing from it, as if she was playing Tarzan. Violet is the funniest cat there is, and is so much fun. She is my best friend 🙂
hugs and scratches

cat hugging and scratching image
I taught my cat, Ethyl, to hug, where she will put her front paws around my neck and nuzzle her head in the crook of my neck and shoulder. But lately she has taken to digging her claws in my shoulders and biting my neck while “hugging.” I think this is dominant behavior and while I want her to continue to hug, I don’t care for the scratching/biting. Any suggestions on how to stop the negative while keeping the positive?
pinky and geogia
Pinky, a Siamese with 5 finger paws on all four legs. Now at 8 months old. Georgia, domestic short hair on the right at 6 years old. I found pinky roaming backyards. After my last cat died of kidney failure 8 months ago. I decided to give Georgia some company with pinky. Now i can use your help; Georgia got her rabies/distemper shots 6 months ago. Since then she has gotten little skinnier, has a hanging empty lower sac, skinny tale and lost muscle mass. My vet took a organ/kidney function test; came up negative for thyroid or kidney problems. Her waist is smaller. Now she is starting to drink water more often. weird thing is weight hasn’t changed. feedback please!
Cat sits and stares
by Matt (Ontario)
My cat is behaving oddly. For the past year she has been going into a daze every now and then by stopping in her tracks, crouching to the floor, staring at it with eyes partially closed. (either in pain or dizziness)and does this uncontrollably until we snap her out of it. I think it might be due to a hidden problem.Anyone?

He also likes the dryer
My one year old cat Domino has learned to lift the lid on the toilet to get a drink. He practiced and practiced until he got the trick down and can now easily get a drink whenever he wants. I am not sure why he enjoys this so much when he has fresh water in his bowl and I even leave the faucet trickling to give him water as opposed to toilet water.

My little Flower
One of my cats loves to curl up in strange places one of which is plant pots! We have a variety of comfy kitty beds in the house but these are shunned in favor of toilet seats, saucepans, and even my shopping bag! There is no accounting for taste is there? But who am I to say whats comfortable for cats. I sleep in this boring flat thing called a bed!
