watching it like if it would be tv or guarding it by: Anonymous My cats like to sit by the windows or door (the door has a low window witch they look outside of) they usually like the windows more because it has wind breezing in from them. I find my female cat like to guard my bedroom door when i am on the computer. So your cat might just be guarding it.my ragamuffin cat like to follow me around from the inside when i am outside (moving from window to window to door keeping a eye on me wen i am outside.

Garfield stares by: KLM My Maine Coon Garfield stares too! He stares at himself in the mirror, I guess because he is admiring his good looks! He also watches/stares at people I think it is because he is smart and interested in what is going on.

My Cat stares too by: G Bear My Ju Ju bear (British short hair mix) use to stare for hours at the wall. Strange, right? Well, she was sitting with her face only 2 inches away from it! I suspected that there were rodents in the walls or something, or maybe the house was haunted. Or she found humans so distasteful that she’d rather stare at the wall ; )Now she stares at the front door, I think guarding it, or waiting for someone to come home. We do have other cats so she may be waiting for them too.Mainly, I think in her mind, she is guarding the entrance to her den (and fridge).
