Gabriel and his blankie!!
I have this weird cat named Gabriel, I found him in a mud puddle in the yard after a big thunderstorm.. He was only a few seconds old, still had the birthing sac on him. Well he is 3yrs old now and he carries around a security blankie and if he loses his blankie he cries and cries till I find it for him. He walks around with this goofy blankie and sucks on it like a pacifier. I brought a turtle in one day for him to look at, well the turtle took a big poop and Gabriel started throwing up. Of course I laughed till I cried! His newest weird thing is when he sees a mouse he throws up, does anyone else have a cat that throws up at the sight of a mouse? I Googled his problem and found no information on this subject.Cheryl: Thanks for submitting your story and that cute picture about Gabriel (love the name). Wow I can not imagine finding a kitten in a mud puddle with the birth sack still on. You are amazing to jump in and save a life like that. Hats off to you! I have never actually seen a cat that throws up at the site of a mouse. But I have heard of cats throwing up from an emotional response to something in there environment. Basically cats that are ultra sensitive and can get themselves so worked up internally they get sick to the stomach and vomit. Sometimes these cats are treated with anti anxiety medications like kitty strength prosaic. But your Vet will have to make the call if that is even necessary in your situation. Thanks again for taking the time and writing in and saving a feline life. Your snow white Kitty is so cute! – Cindi
