Your cat may just be chasing water drops sliding down the bathroom appliances. Mine does this, only I have a shower curtain. His eyesight is keen and apparently he can see the water splashing or cascading down the curtain. The first time he did this, I was alone & when I saw the curtain coming toward me the old shower scene from Psycho replayed in my mind!
