I still don't know why she steals banana skins, but we did confront our neighbor about it.
Turns out they had stopped putting them in their compost bin and just threw them on the lawn as it gave them great delight to see Jasmine stalking them then take off with them. Need to say we don't get bananas anymore.

I had a British Blue short hair who loved collecting litter from the school at the bottom of the garden.
Occasionally we would get a nice handkerchief or a whole sandwich, but most of the time it was paper and plastic wrap. He even posed for 'Keep Australia Beautiful' campaign and was in the newspaper.
