I have to cats. Sometimes when they have been sleeping for any length of time and I haven't been playing with them they go into what I call getting the stress out.
They will tear around the house then stop and run in circles trying to catch their tails, usually after awhile they settle down again.
They go in spurts..I don't really see any problem..they seem to be just burning off steam or energy (like they are just bored and want something to do)
