Erica- You may have to make sure your cats have gone outside before you go to bed. Then, right before bedtime, make sure all your cats are in, make sure no strange cats are in, and close the windows. You can open them again in the morning. Your kitties may not like it at first, but they'll get used to it. Putting up with their attitude (or catitude as my family calls it) for a few days is far better than the cat pee smell.
