Maybe your cat hurts when he goes potty but then feels so relieved after he goes that he gets excited! Just some thoughts.

it sounds like they may messed him up when they fixed him. Or maybe he has swallowed something that has hung up in his pooper shoots!

It would be a good idea to have your cat checked by a vet to make sure he does not have a fungal infection in his urinary tract and possibly the digestive tract.
Also check for various parasites.

I had a cat that would make a horrible noise after using the litter box. We found out she was constipated and it actually hurt her a bit.
The vet suggested some canned pumpkin in the diet to help soften the stool.

Hello: I have a girl kitty that LOVES to run, trot, somersault after going number 2. I always thought she felt that relieved! And find it very cute.
I usually chase her around the house a bit, which gets her more excited and tires her out for the night. No yowling though. I am sure this is a Siamese thing - they are very vocal cats when they are happy or hungry etc.
I can not help you with the humping thing. I have yet to see my Male cats hump anything. He was fixed as soon as he could be. Was your kitty fixed a bit later than usual??? Just thoughts....
