cat kicks himself in head
by: Anonymous

Cat kicks himself in head? My cat does the same thing, but sometimes he will kick himself in the head with his hind legs.

I'm not really sure why he does that but it usually happens while we are playing attack or if he see's something that intrigues him but wants to act aloof.

I don't really know why cats do this, but i don't think its anything to be concerned about.

Paw Kicking Cat
by: Joy Ann

I used to kitty sit for a big, handsome Maine Coon who would situate one of his plush squeaky toys under his left leg and "jump start" it so he could hear it squeaking. He would also do this to a human when sitting on their lap. I figured it was actually a playful action. He was the only cat I have seen who would kick like that. Bless his handsome soul....he is no longer with us.
