*No* rescue/shelter should adopt out intact animals! by: Anonymous
I'm sorry, but it is absolutely irresponsible for *any* shelter or rescue to adopt out animals without spaying or neutering them *before* placing them in homes.
If you cannot afford this, you should not be opening a new rescue or shelter. Adopting out intact animals only adds to the horrendous pet overpopulation problem in this country - and cats are in especially dire straits.

The cats that are listed on our website under Shelter Friends are still in the owners care (please read the disclaimer on the foster/adopt page for more information on them)
Our shelter is opening late may - and at that time the cats will have vet exams, shots, spay & neuter is still being considered.
Please read more information on our website under www.kitycatparadise.com under News/Press Releases for more details on your questions.
If you need more information, please feel free to write back

How are your cats receiving vet care now? by: Anonymous
I went to your website to look at the adoptable cats and saw no contact information for any of them. Which are with "shelter partners" and which are in KCP's care? And which shelter?
I would at least assume the shelter cats have received health exams, vaccinations, and have been fixed. Have the cats at KCP received any vet care? Vaccinations? Been spayed or neutered? Where are they from? Directly from the public or transferred from shelter? Your website provides none of this information.
