cats don't need milk and may hate it or get sick from it. He is right it is completely normal, most cats can not digest milk and it makes them sick. Some cats like milk though (as a treat you can buy them lactose free milk if they like it but get sick from normal milk) it should only be a treat and not a meal since it has nothing nutritious for cats in it. I got 3 cats and 2 of them likes milk the other hates it.

Cats do not like or need milk once they are weaned from their mothers. It can actually be bad for them also. Stick with the cat food and water.
