Mr Meanie Cat

I had two cats, sister and brother, Little Leanie (girl) and Mr Meanie(boy). They were on a farm with my horse until they were three (my horse was then put down) and I took my cats home. They had never been inside a house before but took to it very well.
Little Leanie had a growth and sadly was put down when she was 11. So Mr Meanie was on his own but became very close. In the morning he would not have his breakfast until he had had a cuddle on my bed, with him on his back, legs in the air!
We would have conversations (I think he understood me but not too sure if I fully understood him!) He was put down on Monday 15th March 2010 in my lounge in my arms. On Thursday 18th March at 5:30pm I was in my kitchen (its a bungalow) and across the hall, opposite, is my bedroom.
I just looked across and I can only describe it as a dark grey mist, the size of my cat, moving towards me. Three seconds later, nothing! I thought it was my eyes(I wear glasses) and removed my glasses to clean them. But there was nothing on them. I knew it was Meanie, and it somehow calmed me. Then every morning at about 5am I heard just one meow, this happened for 5 days.
2 weeks later, as I was in bed, early in a morning, my mum was up and I could hear her moving around. I felt pressure on my tummy(Meanie used to sit on me while I was in bed). Again I knew it was him! I now have another cat whom I rescued from an animal welfare center. But I will never forget my Meanie nor my other cats. He is always with me. In my heart and in my soul! God bless you Meanie.
