Cat weird lately

My Cat is weird lately. i have had my cat for almost a month now he is almost 3month old. 2 weeks ago he started acting really weird as if he sees something in the air and tries to follow. My friends told not to worry about it but i still do because seriously i think cats are capable of seeing stuff we can't see.

my cat starts to jump in an excited scared way his tail is puffed up his back is like a hunch and jumping scared of something and getting away from it but there is really nothing in the room. how could that be explained ?

and another thing is that lately he is being aggressive why? Any suggestions would be helpful thanks.
