This is my cat Biggie in the bathroom LOL

cats and showers. I don't quite understand it but when Im in the shower my cat perches on the bath ledge while peaking at me from behind the shower curtain and then does this thing where its like he is deciding to get in but reconsiders it. Then sometimes he will go in between the first and second shower curtains and get in the tub that way. Its weird to me but cute and funny at the same time. Sometimes he yowl's at me while Im in there. I'll coo to him and he just keep's yowling. He always follows me to the bathroom tool. It can be 4 am and in he will come. He doesn't do it to my husband. Only me. I dunno he is a weird cat, but I love him! Does anyone else have this situation happen to them?

Meow in the round! Huh, thanks goodness, I am not alone. My cat, Cairo, after I shower sits in the bath tub. I really do not know what he wants to tell me with that, but it is good to know I am not alone. puuurrrr!

My cat does this all the time. My female cat cami used to sit and wait then lick me when I came out. Sometimes when I was in the tub, she would drink the water and sometimes jump in for a second or two. I'll miss her craziness!

My cat Rocky is the same...loves to sit either on the toilet seat waiting for me to get out of the shower, or walks between the curtain and liner. I think he's either just concerned that I have somehow "disappeared" or he's just anxious to lick the water droplets from the tub...he hops right in after I'm done.

Yes my female kitten Ruby does this and both male and female arrive in the bathroom door when i am in there! Ruby also purrs at me and licks me when i get out of the shower. Maybe they're just interested as it is something different to watch!

Hi, that's so funny, my 6 mo. old cat does almost the same thing, too. He gets in the tub, between the shower liner and the curtain when I shower. I think he's fascinated with the water, but just doesn't want to get wet!

He also keeps stealing the hair trap/strainer out of the drain and carrying in downstairs in his mouth to play with, so after loosing a couple, I have to take it out and hide it every time. They can be such brats, but you've just gotta laugh!

my cat does this ALL the time!! wow, i never thought anyone elses cat had the same behaviors. He sits on the bath ledge in between the 2 curtains and sometimes even sticks his two front legs on the shower floor.

haha my cat does the same thing, she just likes to sit at the ledge corner of the bathtub while i shower and often she will walk or sit in between the shower curtain and liner (still on the ledge of the tub)

And sometimes she will be in between the liner and the curtain like in the tub, i guess we just have weird cats.

Yes,I have had the same amusement with my 15 yr old...he is a Maine Coon mix and they typically like to be in the same room with their staff ;-) When he was a baby, he would follow me into the bathroom and watch me. Some kind of way (don't ask me how) by watching me, he learned to pee on the toilet! I almost bust a gut when I first saw him do it. Your baby loves you and wants to be in your presence.
