Cat Puts Socks In Liter Box

Cat in liter box

I have two cats (5 months old) that I found abandoned after a flood. They did not even have their eyes opened. I hand raised them and they think that I'm their mother.

They have done very well and do most things other cats do and some things that dogs do (we have a poodle).

I recently moved the litter box. They had no problem with the change in location. However, there was a laundry basket with my kids socks in it nearby and now every morning when I check the box there is at least one sock in the box!

I decided to leave the basket there just to see what would happen.

This morning when I came down there were two socks,a small oragami box my daughter made and a plastic grocery bag in the box.

I am not even sure which cat is doing this, but I cannot figure out what is going on in their little kitty heads!
