Cat Bites

Resting between cat bites

My cat (Lil One)loves to bite! We've had her since she was a lil kitten. She will bite at something instead of striking it with her paw! She will tap at things sometimes but mostly bites! She has a strong prey drive!

When we were out 1 day she knocked over the canary cage, climbed inside & killed him! She even bites my boy cat's ears & throat! Even in the middle of the night when he is all curled up asleep.

My boy cat will walk by her real slow, when shes not looking so she wont attack him. She will even bite your face if you put it too close to hers! She even will chew up her cloths type toys! I love her crazy playful ways, But can anyone explain this crazy viscous cat bites behavior?

cat bites also
by: Merily

My cat Nermal also bites my face but only if I am scratching her. We have a shepherd mix that she grooms and if Zephyr decides she's tired of being groomed, Nermal will bite her. My cat also stares at me and is very vocal AFTER she bites.

She hasn't killed anything yet actually to the contrary. She only gets in attack mode when she knows she can't get at something. It might disturb her rest!
