A THEFT IN THE NIGHT

I adopted two kittens about a year ago. Their names are Garfield and Mango. This story is about my male Calico, Garfield. One night I left their bag of treats on the counter. The next morning, it was gone. Out of curiosity, I did the same thing again.
I started looking everywhere for the missing bags of treats. Finally, I found them carefully tucked behind a large basket of flowers in my bedroom. This went on for months...because I thought it was cute. Then, one fine day, I came home from shopping with my arms full of groceries.
I put every thing away and went on to other things. The next morning I had some banking business to take care of and checked my wallet for my credit cards and drivers license. They were not in my wallet or purse! I remembered seeing them on the counter but couldn't think past that. I checked everywhere in the house.
I know how difficult it is to pick up a credit card so I didn't even think of my old friend Garfield. After looking throughout the entire house, I had the phone in my hand ready to cancel my two missing cards.
As a last ditch effort, I peeked inside their condo. At first I saw nothing, but then OMG two credit cards and one drivers license! How can a cat pick up a credit card. Has anyone out there had this same experience? While I think it is cute, I now have to watch everything I leave out.
